This poem wrote itself. As soon as I saw today’s word prompt, the words flew off my fingers. Writing about the word possible was so incredibly easy. Is it possible? Of course it is! Anything, given the right circumstances, is possible.

Poem – Is it possible?
Is it possible?
Is it possible to make the
impossible, possible?
This question fills my mind
at the single prompting
of one solitary word.
Can the impossible
be made possible?
Is it possible?
Can three distinct
beings
be just one?
Could God
walk in a garden
among his people?
Can God
Show grace
in making a big promise?
In stubbornness, can
a lesson
be learned?
In a hard-hearted
people
Listen and grow?
Can God
Make an impossible
decision?
A much loved
singleton boy
Given for a hurting world?
Impossible?
Oh just watch
the possible happen!

Scriptural Insights
Matthew 17:20
And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
Luke 18:27
But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
Jeremiah 32:17
‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Yes, it is possible!

you are most welcome Deirdre, thanks for stopping in.
I love when God gives me the words (almost) faster than I can type them! Well done!
It is nice isn’t it? thank you for stopping in.
So good! It’s hard to remember sometimes, but all things truly are possible with God. We just need to renew our sense of wonder at the assurances He gives us in His Word and stand on them as the truth!
Very True Ellie. We need to remember him more!
Anette, I love this poetic study poem. Indeed, everything is possible with God. Blessings.
Visiting from FMF#3
thank you. 🙂 this was fun and easy to write.
Your fourth stanza set me off and running.
We got three for the price of one,
it really seemed a steal,
Father, Holy Ghost, and Son,
but baby, here’s the deal,
that now we’ve been given grace,
we’ve got to cowboy up,
and with a smile upon the face,
reach out for the cup
that’s handed out to all and each
who take the Three, believe
that Heaven’s here (not just in reach!),
but what we may receive
as we drink the goblet down,
may be joy, or martyr’s crown.
True indeed Andrew. 🙂
So positive and encouraging!! With God all these things become possible.
I’m at FMF#33 this week
