History
Are you washed in the blood was written by Elisha Hoffman in 1878 . A preacher who rode a circuit in Ohio. He served a large number of congregations in the 1880’s. He wrote over 2,000 songs one of which is also another favourite “leaning on the everlasting arms”. He was responsible for editing over 50 hymnals.
