Looking through my hymnal for a song to share, this one spoke to my heart. O day of rest and gladness. Even though as I type these words I am really tired after a busy day, my heart is feeling glad. I managed to complete a lot of what I had in my mind (except cleaning the house) to do today. Spent time with my sweetheart chatting about possibilities for the future, made cookies, ate decently, felt pretty good for most of the day (except when I over did it a bit this morning), and welcomed my lad home after he spent a night visiting with a friend. So it was for me indeed a day of gladness (and for a while this evening, rest). 🙂 God is so very good to us even in a time of trial and uncertainty. It’s good to see God’s goodness eh?
