Little known fact here on the blog… I LOVE chickens. I think chickens are just such interesting critters, and when I was young I used to tie them up and take them for walks. 🙂 Go figure, I was a real farm girls. To the thoroughness with which she (the chicken chick) treats her subject. Know your laws, keep the hens healthy, know what breeds suit your area and lifestyle, and just so much more. I adored all the helpful and do it yourself hints found within the 180 pages of this tome.
An extremely helpful volume that will be at your fingertips throughout your journey as a person keeping backyard chickens. I know I’ll be keeping it… cause who knows…maybe one day I will have a flock of my own. 🙂 (yes, it is still a dream)
