This is a five minute Friday post. the word prompt is brought to us by Miss Kate. What is Five Minute Friday? Well it’s a party of a group of like
minded folks who gather on Friday to do a five minute free write around a
singular word. AND THEN (and this is the most important part) we take the time to offer up encouragement to
each other on this writing journey. It’s fun, though it’s not always
easy, but it is always good. Come join us won’t you? You are always
welcome.

Oh, how I want to be known as an honest reliable woman. I guess it starts with keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
thank you… we plan to do a lot of outdoor work. should be fun. ๐
Annette, this is great…especially the bit that truth can be hidden in a lie that needs light shone on it.
Wow. That is something I'll be thinking about for quite a while.
thank you Andrew, you are so kind.
Pondering "sometimes truth is hidden in a lie." Then there are those lies that are cloaked by partial truth, like the temptations of Jesus. We certainly need God's wisdom and discernment to see and understand His truth. Have a beautiful weekend! Visiting you from 8 on FMF this week.
there's always the flip side, and I pondered that, but decided that it was good to see that truths are sometimes hidden.
Yes! Truth saves! I'm so glad he came to show us the ultimate truth.
yes indeed! ๐
Beautiful poem. He is truth! #38.
thank you.
Love your poem about Truth, Annette!
Kelly, your post was spot on as well. Thank you for stopping in.
Annette, what a great poem. And a beautiful new look for your blog. I was caught up in the idea of truth being hidden in a lie. That's something to ponder. How many times do my kids lie about something, but give me a grain of truth in their words? It's tricky to discern sometimes.
Have a great week, friend!
It's that grain of truth that we need to find
So much truth here – I really didn't mean the pun, but it works.
