Walking in Jerusalem

For the last couple of hours this song, which I often will clean the house to, has been running through my head.  Since it’s so persistent I figure that means I aught to be sharing it with you. 🙂    I have it on a CD that drives my hubby batty, but never him mind..when I’m cleaning I’ll put it on and just belt out the words to all the songs.  Do I sing them all correctly?  NO.. I go with what I think I’m hearing as the CD came without lyrics printed out.  I think that’s part of what drives my hubby crazy.   🙂

Anyways, doesn’t the rollicking beat make for a good house cleaning song? 

It was written by Bill Monroe, and as I was searching youtube for versions of it I discovered some variations in how it was sung.  This first version is closest to what I have on my CD. 🙂  Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass.  You can learn more about him here.
