I was browsing music online the other day and this song popped up. I am not terribly familiar with it, but it caught my attention so thought I would share with you. 🙂 Where the soul never dies, the name, and I hope you enjoy it.

Where the Would Never Dies was written by Wayne Raney . He is Arkansas born and raised, and grew up to be a harmonica player and a country and western singer. He moved to Mexico at age 13. He was not able to do physical labour due to a foot deformity.
He wrote a variety of music and made a gospel album. He eventually performed very little. He eventually returned to Arkansas, retiring to raise chickens. He lost his voice in the 1980’s and stopped performing. He succumbed to cancer in 1993.
Lyrics
To Canaan’s land I’m on my way where the soul never dies
My darkest night will turn to day where the soul never dies
No sad farewell (And there’ll be no sad farewell)
No tear-dimmed eyes (There will be no tear-dimmed eyes)
Where all His deeds, His joy and love and the soul of man never dies
A rose is blooming there for me where the soul of man never dies
And I shall live eternally where the soul of man never dies
No sad farewell (And there’ll be no sad farewell)
No tear-dimmed eyes (There will be no tear-dimmed eyes)
Where all His deeds, His joy and love and the soul of man never dies
No sad farewell (And there’ll be no sad farewell)
No tear-dimmed eyes (There will be no tear-dimmed eyes)
Where all His deeds, His joy and love and the soul of man never dies
No sad farewell (And there’ll be no sad farewell)
No tear-dimmed eyes (There will be no tear-dimmed eyes)
Where all His deeds, His joy and love and the soul of man never dies (No sad farewell)

This is a beautiful hymn! I love singing it acappella in worship services and hearing all my brothers and sisters in Christ singing about heaven. Thank you for a good hymn in my head as bedtime approaches.
This one caught my attention as I was letting a youtube playlist run. 🙂 Glad to have given you a good hymn!
